Beat that stupid labyrinth. I'll have your head yet, Pyramid... Head.... It's getting awfully late though, so... yeah.

Congrats on sneaking past PH and his sharp stick! :D I've never actually played any of the R&C games.. I feel I should >___>
@mnightwind Heh. I still find it funny how I'm almost at the end of the game, and I completely forgot about the pipe weapon, so I never picked it up. Playing on easy and being surprisingly good at it means I have lots and lots of bullets, though.

If you've got some way to rent them, you totally should. Especially since people are going on about how it's such a kid's game.
I am unfortunately one of those that couldn't get into Silent Hill 2. I think I still have it but no PS2 to speak of(Curse you crackheads!). I started playing it in my basement apartment with the surround sound on and hearing crap over my shoulder freaked me right the hell out and I had to stop playing. It was either that or patrol my apartment with one of my many swords every ten minutes or so.

That being said it was horrifyingly atmospheric. In a good way.
@Spiderish Actually, I didn't have too many problems until I got close to the end of the game. I mean, there was also the crazy horrifying grinding/random noises, but other than that I was fine, for a while.
The woods walking into the town with the skittering noises all around, not getting a suitable weapon quick enough for my liking to beat said noises to death or riddle them with holes... It was the surround sound that did me in.
I dunno, the whole game gives me wonderfully creepy vibes :3 One of my favorite parts is a little shop with the windows covered in old newspapers and scrawled on the wall is the note "There was a hole here.. it's gone now" Some of the scenes near the end are just superb :3
@Spookty Yeah, I remember a roommate of mine once being downright stingy with their bullets.. they even tried to melee the final boss because they didn't want to risk running out of ammo XD I might just buy them at some point; I don't really rent much (no GameFly and I can't remember the last time I was in a brick and mortar rental store :P)
